Vintage Vibes, Modern Minds
Inspired by a brilliant (and slightly eccentric) professor obsessed with retro-futurism, the visual language of the escape room blended bold geometric forms with vintage sci-fi flair. From in-room hint posters to the custom machine cover, every design element was crafted to feel like a relic from a future imagined in the past. These visuals didn’t just decorate the space—they pulled players deeper into the professor’s world.
Look Up, Level Up
Positioned above the bustling train station and bus hub, the large-scale window graphics were designed to spark curiosity from afar. Using the building’s arched windows as a canvas, we crafted bold, high-contrast visuals that hinted at the tech-filled mystery waiting inside. The result was a striking outdoor display that blended brand identity with architectural flow—turning passers-by into intrigued participants.
New Storyline & Immersive Experience Design
Reimagined the escape room experience from the ground up—developing a new storyline, spatial flow, and visual cues to fully immerse players in a retro-futuristic world driven by AI and curiosity. Designed an AI-powered chatbot that acted as both guide and gatekeeper—responding dynamically to player input and nudging them back on track when needed. From tone to timing, every interaction was crafted to feel natural, helpful, and part of the puzzle itself. I also created custom success screens that celebrated progress while seamlessly hinting at the next challenge.
Wall Graphics with Purpose
Designed environment visuals that fit the theme while subtly delivering useful, memorable information on the topic of AI and its use cases especially in everyday operations—meant to spark curiosity without overwhelming. Also developed graphics for the physical space to enhance realism and immersion.
Impact
The players left more engaged, asked questions about how the tools worked and where they could be applied. It turned learning into a playful, memorable experience that made AI feel accessible and exciting.
Design Meets Reality
Building an immersive, AI-powered escape room came with its own set of real-world puzzles. From aligning story, visuals, and tech to designing for unpredictable human interaction, every decision had to balance creativity with clarity.
